The Uganda Under 23 side (The Kobs) have lost 1-2 in the return leg of the Africa U-23 Championship qualifier against Egypt at the Nelson Mandela Stadium, Namboole on Saturday.
Striker Mahmoud Abdelmonem Abelmamid Soliman had a brace with Uganda’s captain Farouk Miya netting the consolation deep in second half.
Egypt U-23 team thus qualifies to the continental show piece of the U-23 youngsters that will be held in Senegal later this year.
While addressing the players in the dressing room, the FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo urged players to remained focused.
‘Go back to your clubs and remained disciplined as we plan for the matches against Comoros and Sudan. Each one of you here has a chance to play in those two games’ said Magogo
