Martin Kizza was the hero of the day as Uganda Kobs beat Azam Uganda Premier League side Sadolin Paints 1-0 in a build-up match played at the Dam waters in Jinja today.
Kizza who took a low placed penalty on 20minutes at the far right to score the game’s only goal was thrilled by the goal he scored.
‘When you score it gives you confidence to work even harder. Hope I will score more goals for the team if given chance’ said Kizza.
The team will continue with training tomorrow in the afternoon at Fufa Technical centre Njeru and return to Kampala on Friday ahead of Saturday’s All Africa Games qualifier against Mozambique at Nakivubo stadium.
