Vipers Football Club have hit the summit of the Uganda Premier League (UPL) table standings.
The development follows their 0 – 2 away victory over win-less Soana football club at Kavumba Recreational Stadium.
Farouq Miya and Juma Ibrahim Saddam have scored the visitor’s goals to condemn Soana to their 6th defeat in 7 fixtures played so far.
At Wankulukuku stadium, new league entrants, Lweza football club suffered their 4th loss of the season after succumbing to a 2 – 4 home loss at the hands of Uganda Revenue Authority.
At the Mityana Ssaza grounds, SC Villa have lost their 100 percent home record after falling to Paul Muchreezi’s 70th minute goal that helped KCC claim the 3 points.
In the heart of Kampala, at Nakivubo stadium, Entebbe F.C and Jinja based side, Bul F.C shared the spoils on a slippery ground.
The two sides played to a non scoring draw after the 90 minutes.
The league will resume on Tuesday, 4th November 2014 with all the 16 teams in action.
