Sc Villa made it two wins out of two games in the Uganda premier league following a 2-0 victory over newcomers Lweza Fc in Mityana.
Karim Ndugwa and Steven Bengo netted for the 16 time league champions.
Ndugwa scored 46 seconds into the rain laden fixture before Bengo got the second 3 minutes to the half time break.
In Lugogo, Bright stars edged rivals Soana 2-1 thanks to two headed goals by Jimmy Kakooza and Anthony Bongole all coming in the first half. Soana piled pressure after the break and their efforts paid off in the 52nd minute with a goal by Kagimu Rahumti.
In Bombo, Vipers played their first game of the season and needed a late goal by Joseph Mpande to pick up maximum points off simba.
In Bugembe, URA dropped yet again points as they drew 0-0 with newcomers Sadolin Paints while SCVU also played to a goalless draw against Entebbe Fc.
