Uganda Records 144 Transactions in 2024 as per FIFA Global Transfer Report

A recent report by FIFA reveals that Uganda contributed 144 transfers to the record-breaking 78,742 international transfers made in 2024.

This movement of players occurred between clubs in different countries, covering men’s and women’s football in professional and amateur leagues across FIFA’s 211 Member Associations.

In men’s professional football, Uganda saw 51 incoming transfers and 46 outgoing transfers, reflecting growth rates of 0.109% and -0.08%, respectively.

Women’s professional football reported 8 incoming transfers and 15 outgoing transfers, with growth rates of 0.6% and 0.667%, respectively.

Amateur football movements in Uganda consisted of 4 incoming transfers and 20 outgoing transfers, with growth rates of -0.2% and -0.13%.
