Uganda remains 72nd in FIFA rankings

Uganda has remained 72nd in the latest Coca Cola FIFA World rankings and 16th in Africa released on Thursday morning.  Uganda total points amassed in the month of May is at 500 with Argentina keeping top position.

Uganda is also the best ranked country in the CECAFA region. Algeria takes top honours in Africa  and lie 32nd in the world.

Uganda’s opponents Botswana in the 2017 Nations Cup qualifiers this Saturday are ranked 84th in the world. Burkina Faso is  73rd  Comoros 162nd.

Meanwhile Uganda Cranes arrived safely in Bulawayo where they will hold a training session later today before traveling tomorrow by Road to Francistown ahead of Saturday’s crunch clash with Botswana.
