CAF U17 Qualifies Build Up Match
Uganda U-17 Team 5-1 Super Cubs FC
FUFA Technical Center, Njeru played on Wednesday
Friday 27th July 2018: Players to travel to Mulago Hospital for the Pre-Competition Medical Tests (PCMA).
Uganda U17 NAtional team got the chance to test themselves in a practice match on Wednesday against Super Cubs featuring in the Rubaga District League, winning comfortably 5-1 at FUFA Technical center, Njeru.
The match is part of the preparations for the CAF U17 AFCON Qualifiers that will start on 11th August 2018 in Tanzania. Super Cubs is a 4th Division League team.

St. Peter’s Primary School youngstar Muber Jimmy got a brace, Mukisa Owen of BUL FC Junior Team, Vipers FC Junior Team midfielder Ivan Asaba and Okum Gilidin of Isoke Memorial College were on target with a goal each. Dungu George got the consolation for Super Cubs.

Uganda Cubs Coach Peter Onen was delighted by the performance of his players.
‘I was looking for a suitable formation for my players. The build up match has given me tactical options and I am impressed by the mobility of my players on the pitch. We shall have more build up games before travelling but we shall stick to our game plan’ noted Onen


Uganda will face Ethiopia in the first game of CAF U17 qualifiers on 12th August in Tanzania.
