With the Uganda National football team-The Uganda Cranes set to play host to Burkina Faso, FUFA has embarked on a detailed campaign to drive fans to Mandela National stadium come 29th Match, 2016.

The 2017 AFCON qualifier will come three days after Cranes have played the same team in Ouagadougou.

‘Fans attendance is important to drive the players’ adrenaline on the pitch. We love seeing them in the stands cheering on us while playing. Come in big numbers to support u’ said left fullback Joseph Ochaya at the launch of the 2017 AFCON double header a fortnight ago.

FUFA is now targeting an all expansive fans attendance from sectors.

‘Football is the number one sport in Uganda. The offers on the market for this match will be enticing for all the fans who will head to Namboole on 29th March’ said FUFA Marketing Director Esther Musoke.

‘The fans will feel our presence as we shall be taking our ticket sales services closer to them’ added Musoke.
The new strategy will see FUFA break further into the high density areas, corporate world, women, and students.

The offers released by FUFA on market are;
• 5,000 discounted tickets each to students sold at UG 15,000 shs for limited days

• Students discounted tickets with a pilot project at Makerere University and MUBS-Nakawa.

• Discounted UG 50,000shs tickets for Corporate Companies purchasing in bulk. A group of 10 people can purchase the above category at UG 400,000/.

• For every purchase of the 120,000/- VIP ticket, comes along with an original Uganda Cranes home replica red jersey.

• Direct delivery of tickets at an extra charge of UG 5,000/- on top of the ticket price to the purchasing individual and groups whose work schedules or for any other reason can’t get to the selling points. A dedicated line has been created for this exercise.

• Prizes; MBS, airtime, Uganda Cranes branded materials will also be won by those purchasing tickets for the match.
