Deadline extended till 19th August, 2016
FUFA has extended the deadline for discounted tickets of the 2017 AFCON Qualifier match between Uganda and Comoros to be played in September, 2016 at Mandela National stadium.
The ‘1 ticket 2 matches’ offer were discounted by 18% (4,500/-) off the original value (25,000/). They have been on market since the start of this month and were due to be withdrawn from market on Wednesday.
However a nine (9) day extension will give the fans a chance to buy the tickets that will allow them watch tow games-Uganda vs Kenya (International friendly) and Uganda vs Comoros (AFCON Qualifier).
‘We have extended the deadline by nine days till 19th August when all discounted tickets will be withdrawn from the market. We have also added a new selling centre-Hardware World in Ntinda’ said FUFA Communications Manager Ahmed Hussein.
The discount ticket holders will also use them to watch the international friendly match between Uganda and Kenya at Namboole on 30th August, 2016.
Hussein added;
‘Economically this offer is very good for the fans as 20,500/- gives you the chance to watch two games. On match day of Uganda vs Kenya, fans will only show their tickets to the personnel at the gate to gain access to the stadium. No part of the ticket will be taken off. The tickets will be given back to the fans immediately after verification for use again on 3rd September’
After 19th August, tickets will be withdrawn from the market for the release and distribution of other categories of 25,000/-(Ordinary) , 60,000/-(VIP Blue seats) and 150,000/- (VVIP) to the designated selling points.
The other three category tickets will be on market on 24th August, 2016.
The fans will pay 10,000/- for the Uganda vs Kenya international friendly.
