The FUFA Finance department has released the charges for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia qualifier between Uganda Cranes and Congo Brazzaville to be played at Mandela National stadium, Namboole on 12th November, 2016.
The announcement was made by the FUFA Finance Director Decolas Kiiza during the FUFA weekly press conference on Wednesday in Mengo.
‘Preparations are already underway and we look forward to holding a very good game. The charges have also been released to allow our fans ample time to plan accordingly’ said Kiiza.
The charges are 25,000/-, 60,000/- and 150, 000/- for Ordinary, VIP and VVIP stands respectively.
Uganda is in the same group with Ghana and Egypt. The opening match of the campaign saw Uganda draw 0-0 with Ghana in Tamale.
Meanwhile FUFA has revealed that fans under organised Associations will enjoy 15% discount on tickets at international matches involving Uganda Cranes.
FUFA has received applications from various fans groups and hospitality and events mangers seeking to register fans going to the 2017 AFCON Finals in Gabon.
‘It is indeed true that some companies and individuals have approached with the main aim of helping fans to travel to Gabon. FUFA will guide the public and let them know the best service provider for this project as we want the fans to enjoy the moment in Gabon’ said FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo during the press conference.
Members of the fans associations will also be considered for items that come from Uganda Cranes sponsors and courses aimed at improving their area.
On a related note, Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic will name his squad next Wednesday 2nd November, 2016 for the game against Congo Brazzaville.
