Uganda Cranes Vs Ethiopia

A contingent of 20 players and 7 officials from Ethiopia national team have arrived in the country on Friday.
FUFA head of Protocol official, Boniface Oryema welcomed the Ethiopian team which was driven to the Imperial Royale Hotel where they are accommodated till Sunday-match day.

The team is led by their team skipper, Yussuf Saleh, who plays professional football in Sweden.
They arrived at Entebbe International Airport at 1:10 pm aboard Ethiopian Airlines, Boeing, ET 330.
Uganda will host Ethiopia on Sunday in a match meant to help the two nations warm up for their upcoming AFCON 2015 qualification matches.
Uganda will host Ghana on November 15th at Namboole while Ethiopia travels to Algeria on the same day.
The friendly game at Namboole will be attended by President of the Republic of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni as chief guest. The President will captain a Cabinet XI against Parliament XI in a curtain raiser match.
The Ministries of Health, Education and Sports in conjunction with FUFA have organized the game meant to sensitize the public against the prevailing HIV/AIDS threat.
There will be free HIV testing and counselling services at Namboole on Sunday.
At the same time, 3 foreign based Ugandan players, Tonny Mawejje, Isaac Isinde and Robert Odongkara have arrived in the country in preparation for the same match.
The trio used the same plane that carried the Ethiopian contingent.
