Ethiopians ready for Uganda at Namboole Stadium on Saturday

The Ethiopian national team, The Walia Stars who arrived in Uganda on Friday are ready for the international friendly match against Uganda Cranes at Namboole Stadium on Sunday.
Tonny Mawejje is expected to play for the Uganda Cranes today.
A contingent of 20 players and 7 officials arrived at Entebbe International Airport on Friday aboard Ethiopian Airlines, Boeing, ET 330.
The friendly which is organized byFUFA in conjuction with the Government of Uganda under the two Ministries; of Health, Education and Sports.

The game is meant to sensitize the public against prevailing HIV/AIDS threat and HIV/AIDS will be tested as many people will also be given special counselling services.
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is expected be the as chief guest at the friendly game which will also serve as a crucial preparatory encounter ahead of the penultimate round of the qualification process for the 2015 African Cup of Nations for both sides.

Uganda will host Ghana on November 15th at Namboole while Ethiopia travels to Algeria on the same day.
Uganda Cranes on Friday played a trial match with the Junior U-23 side, The Kobs.
The Cranes won 3 – 0 courtesy of goals by Michael Sserumaga, Faruku Miya and Robert Ssentongo.
Micho, Uganda Cranes’ head coach is expected to use a full strength side with including the foreign based Ugandan players.
Tonny Mawejje, Isaac Isinde, Moses Oloya and goal keepers, Jamal Salim and Robert Odongkara are all expected to feature in the match.
