The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has officially released ticketing details for the highly anticipated FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualifier match between Uganda and Guinea, scheduled for 25th March 2025, at Mandela National Stadium. The match will kick off at 7:00 pm, and fans are encouraged to secure their tickets early to avoid last-minute rush.
In partnership with MTN, FUFA has introduced an organised ticketing process to ensure accessibility and convenience for all fans. Category Three, which includes ordinary tickets, will be available in three pricing levels. The MTN MoMo Early Bird ticket is now on the market at a cost of 20,000 UGX. This offer is available exclusively via the MTN MoMo platform and will expire at midnight on Sunday 16th March 2025.
FUFA Executive Secretary in charge of Marketing and Communications Rogers Byamukama emphasised the importance of taking advantage of this offer.

‘The MTN MoMo early bird ticket is on the market as we speak today, and that ticket is going for 20,000 UGX. However, the early bird will expire at midnight on Sunday,’ he said.
‘If you are a person who loves the most affordable tickets, please go to your MoMo Pay platform and acquire that ticket.’
After the early bird period, a second pricing level will be available through MTN MoMo at 25,000 UGX. Beyond this, regular ordinary tickets will be sold at 30,000 UGX at designated selling points.

Category Two tickets, identified as Silver, will be sold at 50,000 UGX. Byamukama clarified the transition from VIP terminology, stating, ‘Category Two is the Silver ticket, which is what we’ve been calling VIP tickets. We are trying to get in tandem with the CAF ticketing acronym. In CAF, VIP is not a ticket for sale. VIP is a ticket for invitation, free invitation in different categories.’

Category One, which consists of Platinum tickets, is available in multiple packages. Individual Platinum tickets will be sold at 150,000 UGX, while Platinum Family packages will be available at 900,000 UGX for six people and 1,000,000 UGX for eight people.

Tickets will be available at FUFA Merchandize shop, City Oil outlets, which include Nakawa, Kira Road, Bombo Road, Entebbe Road, Old Kampala, and Namirembe. Additional selling points include Hardware World, Total Bweyogerere, and Total City Centre.

‘Our partners, MTN, are arranging a separate promotion where you can actually buy a ticket and enter into a draw to win a few goodies,’ Byamukama added.
‘We still have some goodies that were supposed to be won the last time and they were not won. We are considering putting back those goodies into the raffle draw.’
Further details regarding this promotion will be communicated in due course.
FUFA encourages all fans to secure their tickets early through the available digital and physical platforms to ensure a smooth matchday experience.
