A strong team of 24 has been released today by FUFA ahead of Uganda’s AFCON 2015 qualifier against Togo at Namboole.
National team assistant coach, Kefa Kisala released the squad to the media during the weekly press conference held at FUFA house in Mengo on Wednesday.
Uganda Cranes Assistant Coach, Kefa Kisala released the names of players to the media today at FUFA House in Mengo.
Kisala represented the national team coach, Milutin ‘Micho’ Sedrojevic who is away in Egypt attending to the all Africa course symposium.
SC Villa left back, Fred Nkata, Kiira Young skipper and midfielder, Baker Lukoya and on form Villa striker, Karim Ndugwa are the new faces on the team.
Strikers, Emma Okwi of Tanzanian giants, Simba f.c and Dan Sserunkuma of Kenyan side, Gor Mahia return to the team having missed the Ghana and Guinea fixtures.
The team starts training on Saturday, 4th October 2014 at Namboole Stadium.
FUFA Finance director, Decolas Kizza has communicated that the match tickets go on sale next Monday (6th October 2014).
