Ugandan Officials appointed for CAF duty

Five Uganda officials have been appointed by Confederation of African Football (CAF) to officiate at two CAF Champions league matches to be played between 26th – 28th February 2016.

The four are FIFA Match referees who will be involved in the return leg of the Rwanda’s APR Versus Mbabane Swallows F.C from Swaziland.

They are; Alex Muhabi (center referee), Samuel Kayondo (first assistant), Ronald Katenya (second assistant) and Ali Chelangat Sabilla (Reserve referee).

The APR VS Mbabane Swallows match will be held in Kigali, Rwanda.

Another Ugandan, Abbasi Ssendyowa will be the match commissioner during match 20 of the CAF Champions league preliminary round return leg between Burundi’s Vital’o F.C and Lesotho based club, Lioli F.C.

Vital’O Vs Lioli F.C match shall take place in Bujumbura, Burundi.

Match 30 – APR F.C (Rwanda) Vs Mbabane Swallows F.C (Swaziland):

Center Referee: Alex Muhabi (Uganda)

1st Assistant Referee: Samuel Kayondo (Uganda)

2nd Assistant Referee: Ronald Katenya (Uganda)

Reserve Referee: Ali Chelangat Sabilla (Uganda)

Match Commissioner: Mahamat Abdoulaye Lawandji (Chad)

20 – Vital’O F.C (Burundi) Vs Lioli F.C (Lesotho):

Center Referee: Pierre Numbi Kibingo (DR Congo)

1st Assistant Referee: Daddy Diassiwa (DR Congo)

2nd Assistant Referee: Martin Mukala (DR Congo)

Reserve Referee: Yannick Malala Kabanga (DR Congo)

Match Commissioner: Abbasi Ssendyowa (Uganda)
