Following the international break, a number of football leagues world over returned that witnessed Ugandan players feature.
Here is a compilation of how the different Ugandans attached to several clubs fared.
In the Israel Ligat Ha’Al, forward Bayo Fahad was put in the match day squad hours after returning from international duty.
He was introduced in the 76th minute for Yehezkel as his Ashdod FC side beat Hapoel Beer Sheva 2-0 at home.
However, defender Timothy Awany did not make the match day squad since he was still in transit.
‘I thank God for the win because we need it badly as a team and about being drafted in the team hours upon return just shows the trust and confidence the team has in me and I hope we can go on and win more games as a team.’ Bayo told FUFA media.
Midfielder William Luwagga Kizito was an used substitute as his Hapoel Kfar Saba lost 0-1 at home to Sakhnin.
During the South African top tier league, midfielder Moses Waiswa yet again started the game for SuperSport United who lost it late 2-1 at Orlando Pirates.
Waiswa was withdrawn in the 60th minute for Webber.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Denis Onyango was not in the match day squad as his Mamelodi Sundowns side won 4-3 against Amazulu.
In the Czech Republic second division, Isaac Muleme played full time as his Zizkov side beat Lisen 3-1 at home in a game he saw yellow in the 64th minute.
In Turkey, Miya Farouk started before paving way for Hadziahmetovic in the 46th minute as his Konyaspor FC side beat Kasimpasa 2-1 at home.
During the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) Linafoot League, left back Joseph Benson Ochaya was an unused substitute as his TP Mazembe side drew 1-1 against Lupopo.
Striker, Edrisa Lubega came on in the 76th minute for Owusu Sekyere as his Paide Linameskond drew 2-2 at Levadia in the the Estonia Meistrilliga,
Midfielder Robert Kakeeto was not in the match day squad as his Aalborg FC side drew 1-1 against Nordsjaelland during the Danish Premier League.
Elsewhere, Moses Opondo did not make the match day squad due to injury as his Odense FC side drew 1-1 against Sonderjyske.
In Burundi, midfielder Allan Brian Kiiza and defender Steven Mugisha featured as their Le Messager Ngozi beat Atletico Olympic 1-0.
Defender Joseph Othieno also featured as his Musongati FC side Muzinga 0-3 on the road.
In England, striker Karl Mubiru Ikpeazu was not in the match day squad because of injury as his Wycombe Wanderers side drew 0-0 against Brentford during a championship duel.
Defender Ronald Mukiibi came on in the 82nd minute for Ouattara andIsak Ssewankambo started in midfield before coming off in the 58th minute for Awad as their Ostersunds FK side lost 4-0 at home to Varbergs during the Swedish Allsvenskun league contests.
Forward Alexis Bbakka was not in the match day squad due to injury as his Umea FC side succumbed to 6-0 loss at Norrby during the Swedish Supprettan.
In the Scottish Premier League, Bevis Mugabi returned from injury and played full time as his Motherwell FC side drew 1-1 at St Johnstone.
Left back, Alex Kakuba featured as his CD Cova Piedade progressed to the next round in Portguese FA Cup.
This was after defeating Marinhense 5-3 on penalties following a one all draw in normal time.
In Tanzania, Nicholas Wadada was an unused substitute as his Azam FC side lost 1-0 away to KMC.
Boban Zirintusa wasn’t in the match day squad as his Mtibwa Sugars side drew 0-0 at TZ Prisons.
In Guinea, custodian Robert Odongkara wasn’t in the match day squad as his Horoya FC side lost 2-1 at home to Flamme Olympique.
In the MLS playoffs, Mustafa Kiiza came on in the 46th minute for Corrales as his Montreal Impact side lost it late 2-1 at New England Revolution.
