Uganda will be aiming to secure qualification to the knockout stages of the CECAFA U18 Boys Championship when they play last group stage match against South Sudan on Saturday afternoon.

Team currently sits at bottom of Group B having taken three points from their two fixtures so far but are levels with the other three opponents, only distanced with more cautions.
In a tricky group as it is, a must win would be an essential asset to give Uganda a guaranteed top-two finish in the group regardless results for the other game in same group.
If Morley Byekwaso’s side claim victory and the other fixture in the same group ends in a draw on the same afternoon, Uganda will be confirmed as group winners.

Top two teams in each Group progress directly to the semifinal.

Fixtures: Saturday 2nd December 2023.
Uganda vs South Sudan, 2pm at Jomo Kenyatta Mambo Leo Stadium-Kisumu.
Tanzania vs Zanzibar, 2pm, Bukhungu Stadium, Kakamega.
