FUFA and its member clubs in the Azam Uganda Premier League met today in Mengo to discuss matters related to improving club football in Uganda.
The meeting was chaired by FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo and attended by 12 of the 16 clubs. Express FC, Soana, KCC FC and Lweza FC missed the meeting.
During the meeting, FUFA who were also represented by the CEO Edgar Watson and Vice President Dennis Mbidde reminded clubs about the statutes and strategic planning on short and long term basis.
The meeting also discussed about the current status of club football in the country as one of the key points in the build up to the 2019 Cameroon Project.

It was agreed that more consultative meetings be held to get a bigger picture as clubs have been guided to write down their most pressing needs and hand them over to FUFA.

The appropriate bodies of FUFA will be tasked to internalize the club’s issues and get back to them.
FUFA and the clubs are confident that the meeting held today at FUFA House will help to take football to another level.
