The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has today visited the Wakisa Crisis Pregnancy Centre in Mengo as part of the activities lined up for the Mama Becca Women’s Day Cup due this weekend.
The charity cause by FUFA saw its staff make the short distance from FUFA House to Wakisa Ministries centre where they talked to the pregnant teenagers as they narrated their ordeals during the one on one sessions.
FUFA donated an assortment of food stuffs, clothes, footballs, cleaning equipment, cleaned the centre and fetched water.
Wakisa Ministries Director Ms Vivian Wakisa was a happy host.
‘I am very happy for this kind of support. You have made these young girls happy. Let us build on this relationship’ said Wakisa.
FUFA Technical Director Asuman Lubowa addressed the young girls on behalf of FUFA.
‘We care a lot about our daughters and the future mothers of Uganda. You still have a future and that i why FUFA is here to pay you a visit’ said Lubowa.
FUFA promised to continue with the partnership they have started with the Wakisa Ministries.
