Two Uganda Cranes players Okot Denis and Hassan Wasswa Dazol were admitted at Nakasero Hospital following the motor accident that involved the Cranes bus and a commuter taxi at Jami Trading centre on the Mbale-Tirinyi road on Tuesday afternoon.
The front tyre on the bus driver’s side burst.
The decision to receive treatment at Nakasero was taken by the Government but the players are also insured under the NIC deal signed by FUFA two months ago.
Okot and Wasswa received immediate treatment at the scene following the accident. The Cranes team doctor Ronald Kisolo and physiotherapist Ivan Sewanyana treated the affected Cranes players and officials on the scene of the accident.
Meanwhile FUFA will hold a press conference on Thursday at FUFA House starting at 10am.
