Express FC defeated home side Simba 2-1 in Bombo to move to joint top with Sc Villa and vipers FC. The top three teams re tied on 13 points each but separated by goal differences. Kavuma Willy and Semazzi John netted for the red eagles while Witaba Alex was on target for the army side.

At the KCCA Stadium, Bright stars recovered from the loss last week to reigning champions KCC FC by beating newcomers Rwenshama 3-1 in Lugogo. Rorbert Male, Anthony Bongole and Hassan Kikoyo scored for the Kawempe based side. Katende Mike pulled one back for the visitors.

In Bugembe,  Sadolin FC drew 1-1 with Kira Young as Mugabi Martn netted for the home team. Ntambi Julius scored for Kira Young.

SCVU picked up their second win of the season by edging Police FC 1-0 at the Mandela National stadium, Namboole. Mathwe Odong was the hero with an 80th minute goal.
