USPA/FUFA Media Interaction Day
Date: Friday 3rd August 2018
Time: 8am
Venue: Imperial Royale Hotel – Kampala
The organisers of the first ever USPA/FUFA media Interaction Day have confirmed new date for the event. The initial dates were not favorable for stakeholders invited for the event now set to be held on 3rd August at Imperial Royale Hotel, Kampala.
The One day open session to sports journalists will see members of Uganda Sports Press Association (USPA) pause questions to the local soccer governing officials who will be led by FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo, Executive Members, CEO Edgar Watson and Heads of Departments.
FUFA Communications Manager Ahmed Hussein confirmed the new date.
‘The USPA/FUFA Media Day will provide the sports media with a platform to get first-hand information from the aristocrats of the game in Uganda. It will also provide the sports media an opportunity to learn more about the activities, systems, projects and how the game is run in the country by FUFA’ said Hussein.
‘Communication is important in football development and media adds value in the process. We are very much aware of the kind of support the media has extended to the sport through balanced reporting. FUFA will be heavily represented during the session to interact with the sports media on the day’
