Vipers beat Onduparaka to lift maiden Uganda cup

Vipers SC 3-1 Onduparaka FC

Vipers SC have defeated Onduparaka FC 3-1 in the 2015/16 Uganda Cup final played at Nakivubo Stadium on Saturday evening.

Pius Wangi scored a brace while with Erisa Ssekisambu scoring the other in a well attended final.

Gaddafi Wahabu netted the consolation for the Arua club.

FUFA President, Eng. Moses Magogo flanked by the FUFA Executive Committee members attended the match alongside Minister of state for Sports Hon. Charles Bakkabulindi and Uganda Cup partners Airtel who were represented by Finance Director Pharindah.

This was the first Uganda Cup title won by Vipers.
