Vipers SC Junior Team ascended to the summit of the pile on Tuesday following their brilliant performance against Friends of Soccer FC.
In their second game at the ongoing 2022/23 FUFA Juniors League National Final at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru, the Junior Venoms registered a 6-0 win.
Arafat Nkoola led the way with a brace on the day before Farouk Tumwesigye, Frank Ssekanjako, Ibra Ssebagala and Leonard Kasanya added a goal each.
Vipers opened the scores as early as the third minute with Ssekanjako firing home from close range.

Friends of Soccer however, improved in the next minutes and held on until halftime.
Vipers stepped up their efforts in the second half and were ruthless with goals flowing.
Tumwesigye doubled the lead three minutes after the break before defensive midfielder Ssebagala headed home from a corner.

Nkoola doubled the lead in the 69th minute before getting his second of the day moments later and second half substitute Kasanya put the icing on the cake.
Victory takes Vipers SC Junior team top of the table on seven points from two games.
It should be noted that a win of 2+ goal margin earns you an extra point.
Vipers SC will rest on Wednesday and return to action the next day against BUL FC Junior Team.
Friends of Soccer FC on the other hand will face Mbarara Sports Academy on Wednesday.
