Uganda’s two representative in next year’s CAF Club football competitions Vipers FC and Sc Villa Jogoo are set to be inspected by CAF next month.
The FUFA CEO Edgar Watson revealed to the members of the sports media during the FUFA weekly Press conference today in Mengo.
Vipers FC are Azam Uganda Premier League champions for the 201/2015 season while SC. Villa Jogoo won the Uganda Cup.
‘The FUFA club licensing process is not enough for Vipers and Sc Villa as CAF will send an inspector to check on the documents and requirements of our teams going to represent Uganda next year’ said Watson.
Vipers will play in the CAF Champions League while Sc Villa Jogoo in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Vipers recorded good rankings in the FUFA registration and club licensing exercise while Sc Villa was issued with a provisional license. Vipers is among the top five clubs together with BUL, URA, KCCA and Express FC to have met most requirements.
