World Football Governing body, FIFA coaching instructor Roman Hangarter has hailed Ugandan women for an impressive knowledge they have about the game of football.
Hangarter made the remarks at the closing ceremony of the seven day coaching course for women at Mandela National Stadium- Namboole on Saturday, January 28. “It has been a good class. They had very impressive knowledge about football…it’s a rare quality among some women elsewhere” said the FIFA Instructor from Switzerland.
FUFA Vice president in charge of women football, Chris Kalibbala urged participants to put more emphasis on young girls for training. He also commended FUFA for identifying the women sector for this coaching course. A total of 28 women coaches attended this course. Hangarter returns home this Sunday evening
