With the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA in top gear to help the women develop their game, it is evident that the future is bright. Over the weekend, the FUFA President Engineer Moses Magogo was in Western Uganda to officiate at the kick off of the Unit 6 league that brings together women’s football teams in Mbarara, Bushenyi and Ntungamo.

‘We have plans to help women’s football improve in the next four years. The federation will give you a lot of support including technical assistance’ said Magogo

The league will help some players prepare in time for the Internal Women’s day Football tournament due next month (7th-9th) at St John’s in Wakiso district.

The tournament has already attracted teams in various categories from primary schools, secondary schools, tertiaries, Universities and clubs.
