Synergy 1-0 Super Cubs
Kampala Junior Team (KJT) will go down in the history of Uganda’s football as the first ever winners of the FUFA Juniors’ (Under 17) national league.

This was after won the play off final against Masaka’s Synergy 3-0 on post match penalties after a 1 all draw in normal time.
To achieve the feat, KJT overcame 12 other teams that were initially divided into groups of two – Nile and Murchison.
Having toppled Murchison group (with 33 points), KJT qualified to progress to the play offs along side three other teams.
In the semi final play offs, KJT overcame St Mary’s Nabweru 3-2 on post match penalties following a 2 all draw in normal time.
On the other hand, Synergy had beaten Super Cubs by a lone strike.
The play offs were held at the Phillip Omondi stadium stadium and relied live on 102.1 FUFA f.m.
FUFA President, Eng Moses Magogo, second Vice president, Darious Mugoye, National U-17 assistant coach, Wasswa Bbosa and other officials attended the league climax.
This is the first time in history of Uganda’s football that the U-17 National league was being played.
