Zambia vs Uganda: It’s a Crucial Game-says Micho

  Zambia vs Uganda (5.30pm East African Time)                            

Uganda Cranes coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevich has emphasised to his players that they don’t have to take the international friendly with Zambia in Ndola tomorrow lightly. The Serbian tactician has described the game as crucial to his technical team and players.

‘This game will give me a close picture of my squad before the preliminary round of the Afcon 2015 starts in May’ said Sredojevich.

Micho told his players that the Zambians have a lot of respect for Uganda as shown by the strong squad selected for the fixture.

‘If selected to start the game,  give everything on the pitch to earn a positive result’ added Micho.

The Cranes will have a feel of the Levy Mwanawasa stadium in the last training session later today at 5.30 PM (East African Time).

Meanwhile, the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has changed the kickoff time to 5:30 PM East African Time.Both Uganda and Zambia have agreed to use seven substitutes in the game.

Cranes captain Andy Mwesigwa:

“It is our chance to try and win away from home if we are to do it again in the forthcoming qualifiers. Zambia is a good team, getting good results here will give us confidence’

Kennedy Mweene (Zambian goal keeper): ‘I have played Uganda 3 times winning and drawing once, but Uganda is a very difficult team. I believe the fans will enjoy the game. I have a few friends of mine in that team so it will be a great game’

Dan Serunkuma: ‘I hope to bring the club form to the national team. I will play with all my heart.  I am thinking about the Zambia game not Esperance’

Stoppila Sunzu: (Zambia defender): “I am happy to be back in the national team and playimng infront of the home fans ‘It is a big game for us because Uganda gave us hard time here and Kampala. I believe the technical committee was spot on to invite Uganda. For this day we can’t ask much so, fans will enjoy a very competitive game tomorrow’
