Veteran striker Geoffrey Serunkuma made a perfect return to KCCA FC by netting the only goal of the FUFA Super Cup match played this evening at Mutessa II stadium, Wankulukuku.
Serunkuma was signed by KCCA FC from Lweza FC this transfer season.
KCCA FC edged SC Vipers 1-0 with Serunkuma netting the goal off a Joseph Ochaya cross from the left wing.

The match is played between League champions and Uganda cup winners which acts as a curtain raiser before the start of the league.
The Azam Uganda Premier League kicks off on 19th August. KCCA FC will play JMC Hippos while SC Vipers host Bright stars FC.

Defender Khalid Lwaliwa missed the match as he was served suspension picked up from last season when Vipers played Sc Villa in the FUFA Super Cup at Nakivubo stadium.
KCCA’s Ivan Ntege was named Most Valuable player of the match.

Meanwhile SC Vipers Junior Team won the 2016 FUFA Juniors Super Cup (U-17) beating Super Cubs 3-0 in the match played early Sunday afternoon.
