28 turn up for Crested Cranes training in Luzira for CECAFA Women Challenge cup

The Uganda National Senior Women  team (Crested Cranes) is back for duty-  with all eyes on representing the country in the highly anticipated CECAFA  Championship due 14th to 23rd November  in Dar-es-salaam, Tanzania.

The team started non-residential training at the Luzira Prisons playground and will continue with the same programme on Friday morning at 11 O’clock  in Lugogo- StarTime Stadium.

A total of 28 players out of 35 summoned turned up for training.

The head coach Faridah Bulega is hopeful the seven players who missed training on day one will show up in the subsquent days.

The team will have a five-day non-residential training before heading to the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru for residential camp.Training resumes on Friday morning 11 am StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo.
